Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, happy citizens.
At Woodlands Infant and Nursery school we seek to set the highest standards through effective teaching and learning by making education enjoyable, challenging and informative for all children, encouraging respect for individuals and the environment as we prepare our pupils for life.
Inspire, grow, succeed
Inspiring children through a fun, active and engaging curriculum so they grow in their understanding, as a person and their mind set in order to help them to succeed is what we want for all of our children.
This is what we embed in all of our pupils here at Woodlands Infant and Nursery School. We know that in order for our pupils to fulfil their potential we need to encourage and inspire them to become confident and resilient learners we, as a team of parents and staff. This we do by modelling the mindset of a learner who is not afraid of making mistakes but who thrives upon them, knowing that this is all part of the learning process and where their growth happens. The way in which we encourage children to learn and explore is vital to their success, not only at school but at home as well.
